D&A Introduces Five-Legged Starfish and Starfish+ Stands

July 25, 2014
D&A Rock Solid Stands and Hangers is excited to introduce the industry’s first five-legged guitar floor stand, the Starfish. Revolutionized by the design firm RKS, the Starfish provides an innovative solution to the universal problem of unstable three-legged stands.
With five legs, the Starfish provides the ultimate in security by doubling the overall stability of the traditional guitar stand. The Starfish+ has a self-locking, light weight mechanism comprised of gravity-activated, bullet-proof, clear gates that activate in a split second making security easily accessible. Compact, it easily folds down to half its size in mere seconds, ideal for speedy setup and breakdown.

D&A worked with musicians like Guitarist Michael “Fish” Herring, designing the floor stand to the specifications of professional musicians and guitar techs. “It's been a pleasure and an honor working with the team at D&A and RKS. They are a truly creative group that puts honest thoughts and care into each project, and it shows in the outcome of the product” explains Herring, “The Starfish is more than just a guitar stand. It’s a fully functional work of art created with thoughtful design and precise engineering. Whether I'm on tour or in the studio, I can be confident that my guitars are resting safely and beautifully displayed. The Starfish is in a class all by itself!”

The D&A Starfish and the Starfish+ fits electric, acoustic, bass, classical, and 12 strings guitar as well as many other stringed instruments and are now available for sale at www.heydna.com.
