As you may have heard, there was a power outage just before the launch of this last webcast, causing a very last-minute cancellation. We look forward to seeing you again on September 17!
Sheehan, a veteran rock bassist who has displayed his signature pyrotechnic skills with Talas, David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, and Steve Vai, was prepared to present an interactive online session entitled “Bass: Top to Bottom,” in which viewers would be able to type in real-time questions that he would address live. Sheehan and Bass Player Senior Editor Jonathan Herrera, who was on hand to moderate the event, were at the studio and ready to go when apparently a nearby transformer blew, knocking out power for the entire block.
“The timing was unfortunate,” said Bass Player Editor-in-Chief Bill Leigh. “But we’ll reschedule the Artist Master Class with plenty of notice for everyone who signed up in advance. Plus, anyone who didn’t have a chance to sign up in advance before will have a new opportunity to take advantage of this one-of-a-kind clinic.” This would have been the fourth in a series of Bass Player live online Aritst Master Classes.
