About Fender®
Fender® Bass Guitars: Rarely can the genesis of a musical instrument be traced directly to one person, but the fact is that the electric bass guitar didn’t exist until Leo Fender invented it.

Even if he hadn’t also been the father of the legendary Stratocaster® and Telecaster® guitars and a stable of famous amplifiers, the invention of the first commercially successful electric bass guitar alone would ensure Leo Fender’s lofty place in the history of popular music and the musical instrument industry.

It’s no exaggeration to say that Fender is synonymous with bass. And in a global musical instrument industry clouded by competing claims and controversy regarding who invented what and when they did it, Fender is the undisputed inventor and foremost exponent of the electric bass guitar, pure and simple. Fender remains the worldwide leader when it comes to bass guitars, a central truth that to this day continues to boom forth from stages, studios, clubs, schools, basements and bedrooms near and far.

About SWR®
In the late 1970s, the clear, full and powerful SWR bass sound existed only in the mind of company founder Steve W. Rabe. He simply thought that bass amps should sound better, and he envisioned a bass sound that would satisfy the needs of professional players at the highest level.

Today, more than 20 years after those first five units were made in a garage, SWR products remain true to the original spirit of the company, with the highest standards of quality. SWR's classic products are still manufactured and tested in southern California, less than 75 miles away from their birthplace. They're built with the same parts and often by the same people who’ve built and tested them for more than 10 years.

The tradition of innovation continues today stronger than ever, and SWR remains faithful to its full-range, high-fidelity and ultra-clean roots. It’s all part of SWR's continued commitment to bassists who seek equipment that not only does the job, but also actually enhances their overall musical experience, contributes to their creative process and amplifies their future!

About Marcus Miller
Inside of perhaps the most enviable career in all of music, two-time Grammy® Award-winner Marcus MIller has been the composer/producer of eight critically acclaimed and genre-defying solo albums. Each project showcases his astounding and singular technique as among the world's most gifted and eclectic electric bassists. On his ninth and latest CD, simply titled Marcus, he continues to work his one-of-a-kind magic - from the ferocious Middle Eastern funk of “Blast” to the cozy Quiet Storm strains of the Deniece Williams classic “Free,” featuring special guest Corinne Bailey Rae. As a producer, writer and player, Miller was the last primary collaborator of jazz legend Miles Davis, contributing the composition "Tutu" to the canon of contemporary jazz music. His partnership with Luther Vandross produced dozens of R&B million-sellers, including "Never Too Much," "`Til My Baby Comes Home," and the Grammy-winning “Power of Love/Love Power.” Miller produced seven David Sanborn albums, not only leaving an indelible mark on the saxophonist's distinctive sound, but also laying the often-copied blueprint for the coolest of contemporary jazz sounds. Miller's discography as a session and touring sideman reads like a Who's Who of contemporary music, spanning all genres and including work with the likes of Herbie Hancock, Frank Sinatra, LL Cool J and Eric Clapton. And to see Marcus Miller and his virtuosic band live is a truly unforgettable experience.
