Playing for Change with Reggie McBride

Went to a benefit for Playing for Change last night, a really cool non-profit dedicated to improving music education in impoverished communities and connecting musicians worldwide. The group produced a cool documentary, Playing For Change: Peace Through Music, and put a fantastic band together that's making the film festival rounds and playing a few benefits. The band is mostly made up of street musicians from all over the world, but the ringer rhythm section features LA-session great and ex-Stevie Wonder sideman Reggie McBride. He was slamming all night. Check out this great organization. --Jonathan Herrera
