At minimal cost to the attendees, Victor has hosted 60 students from around the world, who come to spend several days engaging in musical and nature activities with him and several high-profile guest artists. Victor’s goal is to help them connect with music by getting in touch with themselves and the natural world. In an effort to expand the program, Victor and his wife, Holly, purchased 150 acres of land along the Duck River. The property remains largely undeveloped, so Victor is holding the Wooten Woods Weekend, an “old-fashioned barn raising,” on April 18 through 20, free and open to all previous campers/students, and their guests.
