We here at Framus & Warwick have an exciting fall season ahead of us, no questions asked! Our Warwick Bass Camp 2013 in cooperation with Gitarre & Bass Magazine starting from September 2, 2013 isn't the only one-of-a-kind event taking place at the headquarters of the German guitar and bass manufacturer—the fun continues directly afterwards, with Warwick’s Open Day on September 7, 2013!

Our previous Open Day event in September 2012 attracted 2,500 visitors, and we are expecting an even higher number this year! All visitors can not only look forward to an exciting day chock-full of events and the chance to experience our production facility up close. An impressive number of bass superstars will also be on hand - Victor Wooten, John Patitucci, Lee Sklar (Phil Collins), Jack Stevens (Mick Hucknall), Divinity Roxx, Guy Pratt (Pink Floyd), Ryan Martinie, T.M. Stevens, John B. Williams, Markus Kössler (of the German rap group Die Fantastischen Vier) and many more will be available to meet and greet!

Furthermore, free factory tours will be held during the entire day, and the Framus Museum will be open during the entirety of Saturday and Sunday. And of course, the outstanding event wouldn't be complete without a plethora of live music on our open air stage!

From 11:00 AM to 12:00, the group "Duff Boyz"  will be rocking the crowd with their "First Class Rock'n'Roll" sound, and from 12:20 to 1:20 PM on, all fans of complex fusion jazz will be in for a treat during "Angry Loner's" show featuring Warwick Artist Dick Lövgren! From 1:40 to 2:40 PM, bass legend Hellmut Hattler and "Siyou'n'Hell" will be thrilling the audience with their unique sound with soul and groove in spades, and from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, Warwick Artist Ove Bosch and "Wendrsonn" will be spreading good vibes all around with their rocking folk sounds with lyrics sung in Swabian, a German dialect. From 5 PM to 7 PM, the Rammstein triubute band "Herzleid," the main act of the day, will be sending the audience into a frenzy with their high-energy show and massive, authentic “Rammstein” sound!

In addition, our visitors again have the chance to win great prizes valued at a total of approximately 16,000 Euros in a raffle! The prizes include a Framus Vintage Hollywood guitar, a RockBass W-Bass, a selection of Warwick bass amplifiers, and a Warwick Artist Series Robert Trujillo 5-string bass signed by all top-class bassists joining us here in Markneukirchen! But that is not all – all participants also have the chance to win a wide variety of products by Dunlop, DigiTech, Seymour Duncan, Cleartone, Pedaltrain, and many other brands. Raffle tickets can be purchased during the Open Day at the price of 2.00 Euros. Double the amount of the proceeds of the raffle ticket sales will then be donated by Warwick&Framus in order to allow for the rehabilitation of the Rudolph Thiele public baths in Markneukirchen. Naturally, if participants wish to contribute a higher sum, they may also donate an amount higher than the default raffle ticket price.

No questions asked - our Open Day offers pure heaven not only for fans of the bass, but music lovers of any kind! Look forward for an exciting day all about music that you will be remembering for years to come. Naturally, there will also be plenty of food and drink. So see you at our 2013 Open Day, here at Warwick & Framus on September 7, 2013!
