BP Presents: Dillinger Escape Plan with the Faceless and Royal Thunder

May 8, 2013
Bass Player Presents:
Dillinger Escape Plan with the Faceless and Royal Thunder
at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco
Sunday, May 19th

imgBass Player’s September issue cover story will spotlight players who are blazing trails in progressive metal, and Dillinger’s Liam Wilson and Faceless bassist Evan Brewer are a big part of the plan. BP is proud to help promote their show at the DNA Lounge where we expect the Bay Area’s hardcore community to descend in force on May 19th.

In 2010, Wilson told BP:

“I’ve always loved to cop the Jaco punk-jazz stuff—fusion-metal. I definitely feel like my band is a mix of fusion-y stuff, really metal stuff, thrashier metal stuff, and a little bit of a poppier sensibility. It’s undeniably metal. It’s got the anxiety, the speed…but I don’t think it stays there any longer than it stays anywhere else.”

Come draw your own conclusions and experience blissful bass headbanging contusions on May 19th.
