January 18, 2013
imgFor the occasion of its 30th anniversary in 2012, Warwick received a special present from one of its distributors: a bass, whose body has the shape of a Warwick-W. Inspired by this idea, Warwick decided to put this model into production.
The “W”-body is completely made of Mahogany, with a Maple neck laminated with Ekanga veneer stripes. The Rosewood fingerboard has a “30th anniversary” inlay and features 24 extra high Jumbo Nickelsilver frets with a 32” scale length (medium scale).
Passive J/J pickups combined with passive electronics are driving the RockBass “W”-bass. Its equipped with a one-piece bridge and chrome hardware.
The RockBass W-bass is only available as four string model, right handed, and its look is rounded off with a Solid Black Satin finish.
