De Gier Guitars Releases The New Lowlander Bass

October 12, 2017

The Lowlander is a tribute and thorough reinterpretation of one of the world's most famous rockbasses. Some of the goals for this bass were that it should not suffer the hated neckdive and that it shouldn't feel 'extended'. Or more positively stated: it should maintain a comfortable position in every situation. It should encapture the classic sound you'd expect, but also have some added versatility. And it should be strong enough to minimise the risk of a broken headstock.

Features
• Spanish cedar neck and body
• 9 ply neckthrough
• original 34-3/8” scale
• reinforced headstock area
• reinforced neck
• custom logo
• Lollar T-bird pickups
• clever strapbutton positions
• Hipshot lightweight tuners
• custom bridge
• tapered bodywings
• available with many custom options

De Gier basses are handcrafted in the Netherlands by Sander de Gier, direct sales only. The price of a Lowlander starts at 2895 euro. We give an introduction discount of 500 euro on every Lowlander ordered in the remainder of 2017.
