Jennie Vee of Eagles of Death Metal to Release Solo EP 'Suffer'

September 14, 2017

Jennie Vee's new EP features shimmering, melancholic dream-pop that mixes razor sharp hooks with heavy-hitting guitar riffs and raw, honest lyrics. Her vocals transition seamlessly from sweet and etherial to gritty and fierce, and her songs have a dreamy, wistful vibe. As someone who's never shied away from writing about dark and personal subject matter, you'll often find her exploring themes of loss, heartbreak, and loneliness.

Originally from a small, desolate town in Ontario and currently based in LA, Jennie has moved around a lot and connected with some seriously inspiring and talented people along the way, including Grammy Award-winning producer Chris Lord-Alge (who remixed one of her songs) and Courtney Love (who quickly became a close friend, has called Jennie her "muse," and often styles her for photo and video shoots.) She has also opened for bands like Echo & The Bunnymen and The Darkness.
