From the first riff of the powerful opening track “Supremacy,” Chris Wolstenholme and Muse come out with their guns blazing on this explosively performed and captured concert DVD. The superb-quality sound catches every bit of Wolstenholme’s monstrous tone—which says a lot, given the sheer variety of basses he uses throughout the show. And while it’s hard to choose a pivotal track, a consensus of bassists would likely pick “Hysteria,” which features the lightning-fast, distorted lines that Wolstenholme nails almost effortlessly. From front to back, this video is a must-see for fans of flawlessly executed rock bass.
