The late Randy Coven sure knew his way around the fingerboard. His fleet-fingered solos on the song “Perpetual Motion” illuminate a command of the instrument few have ever achieved. Released posthumously, this guitar-driven, six-song instrumental CD allows Coven ample opportunity to stretch out, but he also knows when to hold back, tastefully outlining the harmonic structure of any given tune with an ease that could only have come from a master of his craft.
