You know you’re in for a mystical ride when Robert Plant drops his first original songs in nearly a decade. Having played with Plant since 2001, Billy Fuller knows the deal, availing himself as a key force on such gems as the sky-touching “Pocketful of Golden” (replete with low-end rumble that hugs tight to drummer Dave Smith’s kick) and the outstanding “House of Love,” a desert oasis of melody and sound that ripples with Fuller’s plucked double-stops, fluid octave stretches, and tube-warmed tone.
