As a bassist, songwriter, vocalist, arranger, producer and guitarist, Grammy Award winning composer Willie Dixon became famous for shaping the Chicago Blues scene after World War II. His songs written between 1950–1965 were highly acclaimed and went on to be performed by Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, and Bo Diddley. His songs were covered by some of the biggest artists of more recent times such as Bob Dylan, Cream, Jeff Beck, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and the Rolling Stones.
