Autumn of 2010 saw the successful launch in the U.S. and Canada of the new Hoyer Electric Guitar collection, completing the availability of all Hoyer Guitars and Basses in North America. The collection includes the Hoyer Ern, Eagle, Arrow, White and Black Lady as well as the Hoyer Eagle Bass. All instruments feature through-neck construction, top quality materials and Hoyer custom pickups.

The new Hoyer Eagle Prestige Bass is a reissue of the Hoyer Eagle Bass launched at the end of the 1970's. The typical characteristics of Hoyer at that time included neck-through-body construction, Eagle-typical headstock, Eagle-shaped inlays, and the burr walnut top. Unlike the other Eagle Guitars, the bass featured a slightly rounded body, with no top bindings.

The new 2010 Hoyer Eagle Prestige Bass builds upon the Hoyer legacy and is available with a Spalted Maple top and Natural finish. The Eagle Prestige features neck-through-body construction (5-ply Mahogany & Maple), 33.5”scale, Mahogany body, Ebony fingerboard, bone nut, 20 medium jumbo frets, gold hardware, Hoyer Tuners, Hoyer Standard Bridge, Hoyer Humbucker HHB-106 B (splittable) and Hoyer Humbucker HHB-106 N (splittable). The Eagle Prestige also provides the same slightly rounded body shape as the original.
