MoeTar Releases Farewell EP, 'Final Four'

MoeTar features Tarik Ragab on Bass and Jonathan Herrera on Synths
By BP Staff ,

MoeTar is a 6-piece ArtRock band from Oakland, California fronted by the inimitable vocalist Moorea Dickason. MoeTar’s unique alchemy blends sophisticated pop hooks with a viciously technical musical canvas.

After a long and successful run, the bay-area outfit has decided to call it quits, but not before releasing their last EP, Final Four. The four song EP features both Tarik Ragab on bass and Jonathan Herrera on synths.

From MoeTar: On May 2nd, MoeTar is releasing a 4 song EP titled “Final Four” which is the last music we’ll release as a band. MoeTar is officially ending as a band. First and foremost, we want to thank you, our fans and supporters. We have felt so honored to have such an incredibly dedicated group of fans who we hope to stay in close contact with.

Eventhough MoeTar won’t be working together as a band anymore, each individual in it will continue to make music in other projects so we’ll make sure to tell you about those as they roll out.

We want you to know that all is good between the 6 of us bandmates. No crazy blowouts happened. This decision to has been brewing for a while. MoeTar has been working together for 10 years and it’s time for a change, but we have nothing but love and admiration for each other, and hopefully we will each still work on music together in different configurations.

We’re grateful to be ending this project on a high note with 4 final tracks that we’re incredibly proud of. We’ll launch a pre-order for the EP soon.

Thank you for your love and support.

In the spirit of creativity and forward motion,

Moorea (and the rest of MoeTar)
