Terrorists Take 100 Hostages at Eagles of Death Metal Concert in Paris, Band Appears to Be Safe

Matt McJunkins and Easgles of Death Metal have faced tragedy at their Paris concert

November 13th, 2015 – As bassist Matt McJunkins and the Eagles of Death Metal prepared to perform their sold out show at the Bataclan in Paris, France, 6-8 terrorists entered the venue and held 100 hostages inside the building. According to CNN the attackers are still in a shootout with the Paris police. (Reported by CNN and Consequence of Sound) 

The Red Lemons posted an update to Facebook saying they were outside the venue with the members of Eagles of Death Metal when the attack took place. “They’re safe,” Red Lemons’ Facebook page said. “They took a cab.”

We are still waiting on word from McJunkins on the safety of he and the band.
