Wilton Felder has passed away at the age of 75

Acclaimed bass guitarist and saxophonist Wilton Lewis Felder passed away on Sunday, September 27th, 2015 at the age of 75.

Best known as a founding member of The Crusaders, Felder went on to have a flourishing career as a studio bassist serving as a first-call player for Motown Records. Fielder's playing can be heard on hits like Jackson 5's "I Want You Back," Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On," as well as numerous albums with Randy Newman, Billy Joel, Steely Dan, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, B.B. King and many others.
