How did you come to play bass?

I was a drummer from age nine, but I always loved the bass. In high school, I would just hold the bass and dream of playing it. At 32, my wife knew I had the dream, so one evening, she took me to the local music store and purchased a bass, amp, and a gig bag if I promised that I’d take lessons. Deal!

What’s a lesson you’ve learned along the way?

The groove starts from the bottom!

What are your musical goals?

To always grow musically.
