Victor Wooten Performs National Anthem at MSG, Announces Trio Tour (WATCH)

The January 16th Knicks-Hawks game at Madison Square Garden was the setting for Victor Wooten's stirring solo version of the “Star-Spangled Banner,” before a sold-out crowd of 19,763. Victor also returned at halftime for a show-stopping performance of “Funky D,” with the Victor Wooten Trio (drummer Dennis Chambers and saxophonist Bobby Franceschini).

The trio will begin the first leg of their national tour on February 24th (see dates below). Victor’s 10th solo album, due in late-Spring will mark the trio’s recording debut.
