This year marks the 35th anniversary of Warwick Basses, and to celebrate, Hans Peter Wilfer and the Warwick family hosted the Fifth Annual Bass Camp Reunion. Players and students from all over the world gathered in Schöneck, Germany, to partake in clinics, panel discussions, performances, and this year’s ReeveLand Festival, which was all capped off with a star-studded dinner held in Warwick Headquarters hosted by the Wilfer family. And, there were fireworks. Lots and lots of fireworks.

Juan Alderete, Rex Brown, Ralphe Armstrong, Ryan Martinie, Shavo Odadjian, Steve Bailey, Anonella Mazza, Alphonso Johnson, Felix Pastorius, Divinity Roxx, Scott Reeder, Nik West, Tanya O’Callaghan, Angeline Saris, and many others joined in to honor Warwick and enjoy the anniversary festivities, which included performances by Devon Townsend and Dmitry Lisenko, a gourmet dinner, and a Warwick bass-themed cake.

Tours of the Masterbuilt factory were given all week, as were clinics by Chuck Rainey, Divinity Roxx, Stu Hamm, and Nick Schendzielos, who filled the Warwick Music Hall venue with attendees. Plans were already announced for the 2018 Warwick Camp—a good thing, because everyone is already itching to head back to Germany to experience it all over again.
