Jason teaches the Bass Player readers how to play his single “Kind Stranger” off of his independent album The Humpty Dumpty Incident

Jason Archimandritis is a New York soul and jazz veteran who plays a unique guitar that he built that has the low 3 strings of the bass and the high 4 strings of a guitar. In this video, however, he is also playing a regular 4-string bass to give you a play through tutorial of his song "Kind Stranger."

Gear Used:
Bass -SX 3/4 scale Ursa 1 bass

Guitar Ibanez 7321 - modified with bass strings and split pickups (GFS lil Killer for both guitar and bass side). Jason eliminated all of the hardware so that the only thing that was left was the neck and the body to which Jason created his hybrid.

· Low 3 strings of the bass and the high 4 strings of a guitar 

· Has stereo output, meant to be played plugged into both guitar and bass amps.
