How did you come to play bass? At 13 years old there was no one who wanted to be Jason in a Metallica tribute band, so I stepped up to the plate.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned along the way? Support the song. The music is more important than the bass, tone is more important than chops.

What are your musical goals? Get my jazz quartet going playing my own compositions and touring my tunes, and being able to support a family through playing and writing music.
