Elegant and stylish; and not only thanks to the red stripes a real eye catcher! This week we show the MAKING OF video of a Warwick Custom Shop Masterbuilt Thumb SC 6 string bass with 1” Macassar Ebony top in natural oil finish.

This noble Warwick bass is equipped with Swamp Ash back, Macassar Ebony top, curved body shaping, flamed maple neck ("hidden neck-through construction") with Ekanga veneer stripes (5 laminations, Purple Heart and maple), Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard and matching headstock. Other features include 26 extra hard jumbo-bronze frets (perfectly set by IFT – Invisible Fretwork Technology), side fretboard markers illuminated by LED, Warwick Just-A-Nut III brass nut, Warwick machines with wooden knobs, black satin hardware, solid Warwick 2-piece brass bridge, Warwick security locks, passive MEC soapbar humbucker (with series / parallel / single coil switching) and active MEC 3-way electronics.

Musically, this MAKING OF video is underlined by ‘Ascension’ (Robin Zielhorst) and ‘Concious Flow’ (Jörg Varga).
