MY BASSES , LEFT TO RIGHT, BEGIN WITH AN ESP LTD 6-string with active electronics and upgraded Hipshot bridge; it’s strung from a low F# (with a .175-gauge string) to G. Next is a custom Rickenbacker 4003 5-string with EMG-HZ pickups, a Hipshot bridge, and Pickguardian pickguard pieces. Then there’s a Westone Pantera 5-string with new EMG pickups and a BQS system, plus Schaller hardware. All the way to the right is my Warmoth Gecko 5-string, also with EMG electronics and Schaller hardware. I plug them all into Mesa Boogie Standard PowerHouse 2x12 and 2x15 cabinets.

In my rack, I have a Tech 21 VT Bass 1000 amp, Ashley PQX-571 7-band parametric EQ, DigiTech Bass Harmony Machine, Alesis Midiverb 4, dbx 160XT compressor/limiter, twospace rack drawer, Hush IIBX noise gate, Korg Toneworks rack tuner, and a Furman PL-Plus power conditioner. I have one space left at the top for a future wireless system (I’ve got my eye on the Line 6 G90). On the floor is my Tech 21 amp footswitch and my Markbass Super Synth pedal.
