How did you come to play bass?

I started by accident when I was about 11 years old. I was in band playing French horn, and the director needed a bass player for jazz band, so I took the opportunity!

What’s a lesson you’ve learned along the way?

Music is a journey that never ends, especially as a career. It’s great to make goals for yourself, but you have to be willing to take the journey and see where it takes you.

What are your musical goals?

My dream gig is to hold a spot on a late-night show like Leno or Letterman, but right now, my goal is to continue growing my entertainment company, which produces acts in the cruise industry.
