New York-based guitarist and composer Oz Noy strains against boundaries, creating intuitive, fluid sonic art suspended somewhere between blues anguish, rock power, and the rich harmonic density of jazz. His latest live recording Asian Twistz may just be the purest distillation of his vision yet which was recorded live during the Asian Tour last year with Dave Weckl on drums and Etienne Mbappe on bass.
Oz Noy will be kicking off his USA Tour on June 1 at the City Winery in Napa Valley with drum phenom Dave Weckl and acclaimed bassist James Genus. Drummer Jeff Sipe, aka Apt Q258 who have spent years on the road with The Aquarium Rescue Unit, Jimmy Herring, Bela Fleck and countless other great bands will make his debut with Oz in Seattle on June 8 at The Triple Door.
