The shop will feature several bass guitars used by Merritt throughout his career.
The Official Mike Merritt Reverb Shop will feature:
- A 1967 Hofner 500/1 bass guitar played at least once a week on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in the late 1990s.
- A 2009 Lakland Custom J-Bass guitar built for Merritt by Dan Lakin. This was the main bass used on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien in 2009-2010 and live on tour with O’Brien in 2010.
- A 1986 Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar used occasionally on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in late 1990s.
- A 1969 Gibson EB-2W bass guitar played it on “Mr. Tambourine Man” with Roger McGuinn on the August 8, 1994 episode of Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
The shop will also feature a 1996 G&L SB-1 bass guitar and a 2000 Zeta Crossover Upright Electric bass guitar. Each bass ships fully insured with delivery confirmation and includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity from Mike Merritt.
