In remembrance of Motörhead frontman, Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, Los Angeles-based VR/360° company VRLIVE has released video footage filmed in 360 video on Playboy.com.
Producer and VRLIVE co-founder Dann Saxton is seen in the video interviewing Lemmy in the Motörhead studio in North Hollywood, California. In the video, Lemmy talks of life and death, and offers wisdom to viewers from his experiences.
Saxton notes that, "Lemmy's wit and wisdom was amazing, he opened up about his life and we listened to the new Motörhead recordings, it was an amazing afternoon I’ll never forget."
From Playboy.com: Lemmy Kilmister, who died just before the New Year at the age of 70, sat for what might well have been his last on-camera interview last May. We had teamed up with VRLIVE and producer Dann Saxton to listen in on some new Motörhead tracks, soak up some of Lemmy’s caustic wisdom and capture the whole thing in 360-degree virtual reality. In his unmistakably ragged voice, the inveterate frontman meditated on life and death and even hinted at past encounters with ghosts and UFOs. We’re proud to share a clip from this immersive experience with you.
