Victor Wooten and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones Announce 2016 Summer Tour

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones are reuniting for their first tour in four years during the month of June. The tour includes the lineup of Victor Wooten on bass, Futureman on Drumitar, Bela Fleck on banjo, and Howard Levy on piano and harmonica. The tour kicks off on June 1st with 14 dates that will also span festival appearances.

Bela Fleck & The Flecktones will begin the tour at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke, Virginia June 1. On June 2, the Flecktones bring the run to Maymont Park in Richmond, Virginia. The tour continues with performances in Glenside, Pennsylvania on June 3, Port Chester, New York on June 4, Lebanon, New Hampshire on June 5, Binghamton, New York on June 7 and Albany, New York on June 8.

The group will play the Discover Jazz Waterfront Tent in Burlington, Vermont on June 9 ahead of a show in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on June 10 and an appearance at this year’s Blue Ox Festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on June 11. Next, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones will play two shows in Chicago on June 12 and then visit the Murial Kauffman Theater in Kansas City on June 14. Fleck and his mates are slated to end the tour with two performances in Colorado: a show at Boulder’s Chautauqua Auditorium on June 15 and a performance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival on June 16.
