ZZ Top have postponed all of their upcoming 2017 shows due to health issues concerning bassist Dusty Hill.

The rock icons had 16 shows left to play on the North American leg of The Tonnage Tour this autumn plus a further date in Walliston, Australia on 18th November. The band released this statement on Twitter:

"ZZ Top’s tour is temp. suspended & are arranged for rescheduling. ZZ’s Dusty Hill is following a directive to lay low for the next few weeks."

Fortunately the Houston trio are planning to reschedule the dates for 2018 ahead of their 50th anniversary celebrations in 2019.
