EWS Tri-Logic Bass Pre-Amp III

EWS Effects announces the newly updated EWS Tri-Logic Bass Pre-Amp III. This third generation of their award winning Tri-Logic Bass Preamp retains the same neutral characteristics of the former versions, minimizing the coloring of tone, but added are several new features including gain or clean boost modes, frequency adjustments for Treble and Bass, and powering options of 9VDC or 18VDC. An internal dipswitch has been added to provide normal or “Padded” operating mode. Padded mode reduces distortion from high output pickups.

Third generation Tri-Logic3 keeps the same neutral characteristic as the Tri-Logic1 and 2, minimizing the coloring of tone, but also has an abundant of added features and flexibility to correspond with any bass guitar. Gain control has an option between clean boost mode (Normal), with a maximum of +18db, or high gain mode (Hi Gain) with compression at +26db. The Treble control provides ±15db and can be switched between 4KHz (low) or 8KHz (high) with toggle switch. The Mid control knob provides ±10db and allows for sweeping between 250Hz to 3KHz. The Bass control provides ±15db, switchable between 40Hz (low) and 80Hz (high), and allows you to obtain accurate and flexible sound in any playing environment.

EWS Bass Mid Control 2

EWS Effects announces the newly updated EWS Bass Mid Control 2. The new BMC2 introduces a new gain boost function that provides +10db of gain at the input stage. Working in tandem, the Frequency adjustment gives the player control of the frequency range between160Hz to 2.5KHZ. While the Middle control allows the user to boost or cut those frequencies by +-12db. The new BMC2 can also operate at 9VDC or 18VDC by simple adjusting an internal dipswitch.

The BMC2 has an added gain boost switch that provides +10db of gain increase at the input stage. With the added volume control, unity gain can be achieved or with the gain boost engaged, you can add up to +6db of volume. In addition to the previous midrange boost and cut, it can now be used as a clean booster or as a preamp with a wide range of tone control. Further, it isa possible to generate 18VDC by a built-in DC-DC converter in BMC2. It isa able to select 9VDC or 18VDC by an internal Dip Switch.
