For his latest signature bass, Killswitch Engage’s Mike D’Antonio took the mahogany body, beveled edges, three-piece maple neck, and 22-fret rosewood fretboard of Ibanez’s Destroyer model and made them his own. Besides the MDB logo inlaid at the 12th fret, the MDB3 has a single Seymour Duncan SPB-3 pickup and a rear-mounted tone control, a recessed trim pot on the back. The body and the hardware are black, and the bass is factory tuned FCGC.
