Whether I want to play at a small coffee shop or a large venue, this rig accommodates it all. My bass guitars are a Fender American Vintage ’62 Jazz Bass with ’60s stacked concentric controls and a 3-ply tortoise (with black finish) pickguard, a Fender American Vintage ’58 Precision Bass in white blonde with maple fingerboard, and a Fender American Vintage ’62 Precision Bass finished in nitrocellulose lacquer with a rosewood fingerboard.

My sound gear consists of an Ampeg SVPCL bass preamp, an Ampeg PF-115HE Portaflex 1x15 bass speaker cabinet and PF210HE 2x10 bass cabinet, an Ampeg SVT-410HLF bass cabinet, and an Ampeg Micro-VR bass amp head and SVT210AV 2x10 stack. My rack gear consists of an ART 4x4 Pro rackmount 8-outlet power conditioner, a DBX 160A compressor/limiter, an Ampeg SVT3 Pro bass amp, a Line 6 Relay G90 rackmount digital wireless system, and a Behringer BTR2000 rackmount tuner. —Daniel Foster
