How did you come to play bass?

I was always drawn to the instrument, even at an early age. I though the bassist was always a badass! Then after listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Blood Sugar Sex Magik for the entire summer of 1993, I bought my first bass.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned along the way?

Never stop learning. Always push yourself to go further.

What are your musical goals?

To always stay up to speed with new music, never fall into a rut, and keep my mind open.
